The Basic Rider Course BRC (BRC) is a certified course developed by the
Motorcycle Safety Foundation and approved by the Wisconsin Motorcycle Safety Program. Successful completion of this course, and the skill test, earns students their road test waiver toward their Wisconsin Class M Motorcycle License.
The BRC consists of an online e-Course, a classroom session, riding exercises and a skills test. The course is taught by certified instructors and focuses on safety-minded strategies and the basics of safely operating a motorcycle.
Riders use motorcycles provided by Cycle-Rite Motorcycle School LLC.
PROPER RIDING GEAR IS REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE COURSE, AND INCLUDES:Bring riding gear with you every day of the class!!
Classes will be held rain or shine, hot or cold! Bring rain gear if rain is in the forecast and warm, layered clothing if cold weather is expected. Please come prepared for any anticipated weather conditions!
**Students must be at least 15 years, 6 months old and have a valid temporary driver's license to participate. Minor students, those under 18 years old, must have a parent or legal guardian sign the waivers in order to participate in a class or lessons.
